WHAT IS PEER PRESSURE ?

Peer pressure is a phrase to describe an individual who is influenced by people of similar age, majors, etc. Therefore changes are necessary in order to fit with social standards, which makes people feel sophisticated when facing failure or unconfident when they could not gain expectations. 

Peer pressure happens at any age. However this term is a better way to describe how teenagers adopt certain attitudes in order to gain a sense of belonging to a group of friends or classmates.
